Our Story
Meadowlark Pediatrics, LLC is owned and operated by two dedicated nurse practitioners, Paula (FNP) and Elizabeth (CPNP). Paula and Elizabeth have provided care for children and their families in Laramie and surrounding southeastern Wyoming communities for a combined 25+years. We are thankful that our dedicated patients support us, and we strive to ensure that all who walk through our doors are able to participate in our care to our fullest ability. We actively collaborate with other pediatric providers and specialists in the Rocky Mountain Region to provide interdisciplinary care for each child.
In addition to providing medical homes and evidence-based practice to our patients and their families, our goal is to continue our relationship with the Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Cardiology outreach team and expand to work with other CHCO specialties by offering space in their office for visiting specialists. This along with facilitating tele-health options will allow families in Southeastern Wyoming to access appropriate specialty care without leaving their state.

We provide wellness and acute care visits to families with children aged newborn through college. We strive to vaccinate all children; provide anticipatory and safety guidance; counsel regarding sexual health; provide mental health services; physical exams with screens as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Bright Futures, including sports physicals; and coordinate specialty care as needed.

We offer a wide variety of comprehensive pediatric services to individuals from birth to age 22. With offices in both Laramie and Saratoga, our providers offer services to patients located throughout the southeastern region of Wyoming, including areas such as Laramie, Cheyenne, Wheatland, Saratoga, Rawlins, Medicine Bow, Elk Mountain and Hanna.

How much Tylenol / Ibuprofen can I give my child?
ACETAMINOPHEN (TYLENOL) DOSAGE
Please note: One dose lasts 4 hours. Do not give >6 doses in 24 hrs
IBUPROFEN (MOTRIN/ADVIL) DOSAGE
Please Note: One dose lasts 6-8 hours. Do not give >4 doses in 24 hours. Not to be used under 6 months.
*Aspirin should not be used in children to treat fever or pain.
Daycare/Camp/School/Sports Forms
We are happy to fill out forms that you may need for your child that require a provider signature.
ADHD/ADD FOLLOW UP AND REFILLS
- Most ADHD/ADD medications (Concerta, Vyvanse, Adderall, Focalin, Ritalin etc.) are controlled medications. Standing refills are not legal on controlled medications.
- We are willing to write a 3-month mail-in prescription if you confirm your insurance will cover it.
- Only your child’s primary care provider will authorize refills or new prescriptions for a controlled medication.
- Please request your prescription at least one week before it is needed. There is no such thing as an emergency refill on ADHD/ADD medications. Your child will likely go without medication if you wait too long to request a refill.
- Any child who is on ADHD/ADD medications is required to follow up in the office with their primary care provider every at least every 3-6 months; more often if they are encountering difficulties.
- Changes in medication or doses may require an office visit.
